If you have previously completed your online registration through our former system and are already an NM MRC Serves volunteer, please be assured that your data has NOT been lost. It has been transferred to our new site and you are a part of the volunteer registry database.
If you are new to NM MRC Serves, it is our hope that you will register to volunteer as a healthcare professional in New Mexico or to assist another state in response to a disaster. The Department of Health is extremely heartened at the significant response that you and many other healthcare professionals have made in the past and are willing to make in the future.
Since August 2005, the Bureau of Health Emergency Management has taken considerable steps to assure that New Mexico will have a stable and dedicated group of healthcare professionals available for possible deployment in the event of a public health emergency in New Mexico or in another part of the country.
The NM MRC Serves database, New Mexico’s statewide registry of pre-credentialed, volunteer healthcare professionals, is already hundreds strong. However, in a state as large as New Mexico, every volunteer becomes a valuable asset.
Please join the NM MRC Serves team. As you register, you will be prompted through the on-line application. In order to be credentialed for deployment, you will be instructed on how to submit background information relating to your professional licensure.
If you are already registered with NM MRC Serves, we are grateful for your continued willingness respond to a large scale public health emergency.
Bobbie MacKenzie, NM MRC Serves State ESAR-VHP Coordinator: 505.476.8302
